Maintenance + Operations Coordinator

LRSWMD is hiring a skilled technical and manual worker responsible for identifying and addressing all routine maintenance of LRSWMD facilities. The person in this position will maintain all equipment associated with the collection and handling of municipal solid waste, recyclables and all other special wastes. This position requires both indoor and outdoor work in all weather conditions typical of the northeast. Moderate to strenuous physical activity is required and expected daily. All LRSWMD employees are required to work safely and bring unsafe conditions to the attention of the District Manager promptly. All LRSWMD employees are also required to treat customers and other staff courteously, work well as a team, and support the mission of LRSWMD. This position is under the direct supervision of the District Manager.
