LAMOILLE SOIL
We turn the food scraps brought to our stations in nutrient-rich, soil-building compost. In April 2024, our compost became approved for use on certified organic farms. Click for more info on our process and sales info.
The mission of Lamoille Regional Solid Waste Management District (est. 1989) is to reduce the quantity and toxicity of the trash generated and going to the landfill while maintaining or improving overall environmental quality (air, water, and soil), treating customers and employees with respect and operating within a balanced budget.
